YOU ARE DESIGNED TO LIVE FOREVER

Everything he has made pretty in its time. Even time indefinite he has put in their heart, that mankind may never find out the work that the [true] God has made from the start to the finish

-- Eccl. 3:11

Surely God would not have created such a being as man, with an ability to grasp the infinite, to exist only for a day! No, no, man was made for immortality.
--Abraham Lincoln

Neuroscientists say that during our present life span, we use just a small part of our potential brain power, only about 1/10,000, or 1/100 of 1 percent, according to one estimate. Think about it. Is it reasonable that we would be given a brain with such miraculous possibilities if it was never to be used fully? Is it not reasonable that humans, with the capacity for endless learning, were actually designed to live forever?

Study and Meditate

“I shall certainly meditate on all your activity, and with your dealings I will concern myself.”
PSALM 77:12

I took these pictures so as to remind myself how relaxing and enjoying it is to study
and meditate on Jehovah's reminders...

Sparrow

We were at the Philippine Bethel having our tour (I think it was around 2007) with Kuya Russel as our guide...

This poor thing, it just fell to the ground... flapping its wings...

It caught our attention quite instantly... feeling pity...

We were not really sure what to do with it (although I was thinking of cooking it if it was just a bit older ^_^ just kidding)...

And then, suddenly, we saw its mom (or dad, not really sure) flying around, following us wherever we go since Kuya Russell was holding the little sparrow...

We then decided to put the tiny bird on the ground (I took its picture with my 1.3 mpixel phone... sorry for the low quality) ... and walked away to observe... eventually we saw how the parent went to her/his baby to tend it...

At that very moment I remembered Jesus' words above.... That Bethel tour taught us more than what I expected...
